The Communique Design & Marketing Team is excited to add a new member to the team – Ryan Miga! Specializing in content marketing, Ryan has previously worked as a freelance consultant and in-house strategist with local businesses in the Ithaca area. With a focus on uncovering the most interesting details about brands and sharing them with an audience, Ryan has developed many skills as a content marketing specialist.
Though he grew up in Endicott, NY, Ryan spent most of the past 12 years in Ithaca. He received a B.A. in Journalism from Ithaca College. Post graduation, Ryan worked for a local wine touring company on tasks such as boosting social media presence. He was then able to continue building his digital marketing skills by working with a wide variety of local businesses to promote their brands. In addition to studying and working here, Ryan met his wife in Ithaca and easily developed a love for the area.
With this new chapter as a Marketing Associate at Communique, Ryan is looking forward to putting his skills to work. “I’m really excited about the team and the clients at Communique. Everybody here is really talented and committed,” he said. Ryan is enthusiastic about the digital marketing world, and seeing where it’s headed. “There are some extremely powerful tools that have been developed in the past decade. It’s really exciting to be on the cutting edge of that development, but to stay on the cutting edge, at the rate technology is changing; you have to be a really quick learner. It’s easy to get left behind if you don’t stay sharp – but that’s what keeps it exciting.”
President Laurie Linn is pleased to add Ryan to the team. “Ryan brings a wide range of skills to Communique, and will be adding to the already diversified talent we have here at Communique.” Laurie went on to say, “Our team will benefit greatly from Ryan’s journalism background and his expansive understanding of analytics and digital marketing. He is a true Ithacan who loves the culture and community Ithaca has to offer. We are thrilled to have him as part of the Communique team.” With Ryan on board, Communique will continue to thrive.
